About

Owner’s mind. Manager’s actions.

Related Equities is a practice for co-ops, condos, and rentals. We manage operations. We also sit on the board’s side of the table and read the property the manager produced.

Why both

The review is sharper because we do the job.

Accountants that have never run a building miss how fees hide. Managers who have never been reviewed miss how a board actually decides. Holding both practices is the point — not a slogan.

We work in New York because this is where the documents are specific: proprietary leases, flip taxes, sublet policies, and managing-agent agreements that look standard until you line them up against a year of invoices.

We sit in the middle — board, manager, accountant, counsel — and connect the property. There is no monthly fee to keep a reviewer on retainer. We read when something does not feel right.

How we work

Discipline over volume.

01

Fewer buildings

We are not built to absorb every account a large platform can staff with a rotating manager. The property has to be knowable.

02

Written findings

If it matters, it is on a page. Verbal updates disappear the moment the meeting ends.

03

Clear limits

We are not your lawyer and not your CPA. When the next step is theirs, we say so and step aside.
